1000 miles

I was really hoping to hit 1000 miles on an outdoor ride, but the odometer clicked over while I did an hour on the trainer tonight. Now the countdown to 2000 miles can start. While it was warm enough to ride outside the heavy rain and 50+mph winds kept me inside. It was by far my best feeling bike ride since being sick.

I celebrated by spending some of my Christmas money (Thanks Aunt Irene) on a new pair of arm warmers. I'm hoping that the arm warmers let me bike in slightly colder weather. As of now, I head inside around 37 degrees.  I'd like to be able to still be comfortable biking in the low 30's. I might use the rest of the money to join the Purdue Club, but I'm not sure yet.
